Acts.2 [1] And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. [2] And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. [3] And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. What does cloven tongues like as of fire means?

I used these words much in the past. We are living in a troubled times. But, when I did a biblical search, I could not find that it is mentioned. Troubled times, do strange times, sound better or correct?

Who invented that there were three kings who brought gifts to the baby Jesus. I did a Bible quick search and put three kings and these were the only verses that popped up. 😇 later mentioned three magicians with names, one being black, who first brought this story. Why isn’t it properly teach what the Bible says, in our churches today? 👑 2Kgs.3 [10] And the king of Israel said, Alas! that the LORD hath called these three kings together, to deliver them into the hand of Moab! [13] And Elisha said unto the king of Israel, What have I to do with thee? get thee to the prophets of thy father, and to the prophets of thy mother. And the king of Israel said unto …

Now we all know that Mary was Jesus earthly mother. Why don’t you ever listen or in years hear pastors or preachers preach a complete message on Mary, the mother of Jesus? Specially In a Baptist church, for she was chosen by God, but often is left out.

I’ve been attending a Southern Baptist Spanish church for sometime now, I am a independent Baptist, and bilingual, I notice that the last 2 pastors preaching great messages but are not doing altar calls, like they should be doing, being the Baptist church SHC and it’s teachings. You may ask me, why are you not going to an independent Spanish Baptist church? Well, there’s not many of those around. I do attend both for my wife sake, she prefers attending a Spanish service for now. I also attend and listen to the IBC preaching in English. My questions is, why are pastors preaching and not asking visitors or members, if they will like to accept Jesus Christ for Salvation. Th…

He removes his children of the faith, the chosen one's In the Old Testament. Will He do the same in the New Testament, removing His children, those that are Saved. Before the tribulation begins. The seven years of the Antichrist. I believe He will, why would He God, cast judgement on His children, those that are Saved? By leaving them in this world during the 7 years.

Isaiah 28:9-13 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: 11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. 12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. 13 But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backw…

It is extremely popular these days to have in a salvation tract 'commiting your life to Christ ' and/or 'turning from sin'... for receiving eternal salvation. These are fine and noble things of course. But are they things someone can actually do before conversion? Is not 'turning from sin' ..a work? Is not 'commiting your life to Christ ' also a work? Salvation is all about believing on Jesus Christ... it isn't an effort on the part of the believer of behaviour. You gotta know you are a sinner at salvation of course... otherwise how would God convict you.. but repent doesn't mean 'turn from sin ' as a behaviour..but 'change of heart, mind' that…

My understanding of sins that they are all sins. There is no big sin or small sins. But humans want to compare sins as if they are all different sizes? John.20 [23] Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

A challenge put to me when writing about the sign gifts ceasing was on what the two witnesses could do in that they seemed to operate with the gifts of the Spirit in prophecy. I couldn't really refute the argument that they must still be for now if the witnesses could do that in the future. I'd like your thoughts on this, but recently I heard that people don't lose their gifts given.. so if they were sent back to earth from being apostles 2000 years ago.. or not apostles but people who had the gifts.. then they could operate in them during Revelation times. Your thoughts?

Why independent Baptist churches are not mega churches, this may sound like a hard question but it is not. Jesus preached that it is better to give than to receive, this is one main reason why the independent fundamental Baptist church are not Mega churches, because the more they receive the more they give, they support many missionaries here and around the world. The more they have, the more they give, not focusing on building a building and having thousands of members. This is not God‘s plan, they are Church planters, to share the gospel and not man.

I'm pretty sure this has been covered before. But where in scripture does the Holy Spirit baptise anyone at salvation? I know regeneration is sort of figuratively the Holy Spirit baptizing.. but I don't actually see it in scripture. The key verse many like to use is 1 Co 12:13 But 1... later the body being defined is the one at Corinth. 2... 'spirit' here has been capitalized but can be small s. So.. being baptized in water.. in one spirit of unity...in reference to the church they want to join. Paul I think joined Antioch..so he would have been baptised in reference to that body. The Corinthians baptised in reference to the…

Telling anyone one that you’re a non-denominational Christian. This tells me, that this Christian, is open to making changes at any moment, willing to accept or not accept, depending on where they stand that day. I believe talking in tongues today but not tomorrow. A little bit confusing in my opinion.

I said no, why would you think that. He mentioned that part of his seed, and Eve. I told him, that the Bible would have told us plainly. If he did touch her. Note: if the title topic is too strong, it could be changed. Or reworded thanks TGL

We have a friend that was very confused. She mentioned that the pastor said today there are no longer miracles. She felt sad, for she said she felt that she had witness or saw a miracle. Many gifts, have ceased example speaking in tongues, where does miracle fall in this category, do you believe it ceased, and are not for today, or miracles have different sizes, big miracles in the past, smaller miracles today. I believe the pastor could’ve been talking about those miracle pastor workers out there, but I’m not sure because he didn’t specify the type of miracles that weren’t for today. But to come out and say miracles are not for today, like tongues are not for today, wasn…

This is a subtle thing, but very common when people teach salvation. When praying to believe in Jesus .. receiving Him... Many tracts have 'i now commit my life to you' or 'i now turn from my sin and...' or 'i put you on the throne of my life'.. Putting self into salvation. Making turning from sin... A work of effort. Usually they also have believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation.. so people stil get saved through reading it ..but there is the subtle thing of having works 'back loaded ' into salvation.

The question that I would like to raise is whether or not it is considered sinful for Christian women to wear pants, and why that is the case. The controversy within this community regarding women's apparel has manifested itself countless of times whether it be in small local churches, such as my own, or large scale conventions and conferences where the attire of an individual, typically a woman's, is criticized or condemned. Personally, I believe that one should place more emphasis on behavior/actions and our faith than in the triviality of appearances. However, I am aware of the fervent stance that many of us have regarding this issue and I would like to hear/see o…

How do you know this, did you have a dream, did your pastor approve you to become one. Maybe you wanted to be married to the pastor daughter. Because you heard a voice from heaven. You said, I might as well, I went to, and finish Bible College. You thought it would be a easy way of living. Can you share with me, what is a true calling into becoming a great preacher for the Lord? How did you know...

I don't know about y'all, but I find the term 'persons' makes me think of seperate beings.. and then I go to Polytheism when thinking about the Trinity. In my mind mind.. that's 3 seperate beings. But then ... when I using the term 'essences' or 'manifestations' as 3 manifestations/essences of the one being.. God, there is a problem. When Jesus talks to the Father, that's an 'essence talking to an essence'.. or 'manifestation talking to a manifestation' so it falls short of really capturing the trinity. Then persons, sort of becomes best term to use. When persons -- is more along the lines of 'persona' rather than 'seperate being'.. I could live with th…
