    Announcement: New reported content for Nudity to keep this site clean

    I want to share some changes we've made to our software to keep our community safe. It's all about reporting content that might have nudity or explicit stuff in it. Here's the deal: If you come across anything that contains nudity, you can now report it as nudity. When only one member does that, the software will automatically hide that content from public view. Our Mods will then take the necessary steps for banning . This change is all about making sure our Online Baptist family-friendly and faith-centered environment stays that way.     I have known Chaplain Diaz for years and seen him give everything for everyone. He is in a really tough position and has been going through a lot with his health. He has no understanding of computers and I'm not social media savvy myself.     Over the last few months before Jim had his surgery - in my grief now - I had forgotten. In Jim's prayers, that I heard, he often dwelled on his home in heaven and distinguished it from his home in heaven and his home on earth. To most people that may not mean anything, but for me, it told a lot. He had never really done that before a few months ago. Now that he is not waking up, the doctors have their reasons why. His brain is severely damaged by the stroke. If he did wake up it is likely that he wouldn’t be able to see, speak, feed himself, or breathe on his own. He has also developed an infection (Pneumonia) in his lungs. But I think there is an added reason - he …

    This is forum member Disciple.Luke. I am having to post as a guest because I can no longer access my account. The entire time I’ve been on here I’ve always used my username to log but now it is requiring my email address to log in without the username being an option. The problem is that I signed up so long ago that I have no idea which email address I used to sign up and there isn’t any option to recover it on the log in menu. It only allows you to recover a password. I have spent the last two days trying all my different emails and trying to remember old ones that I no longer use but none of them are correct. is there anyway I can troubleshoot this issue so I …

    I wasn't sure where to post this, but it seems as of late we have had problems with false teachers coming here on this board to spread their false doctrine. It is rather frustrating that we cannot seem to get people to identify their religious background. I was wondering if it's possible to restrict a person to the "Ask a Baptist a question forum" until they reveal their religious denomination and affiliation? It would be nice if they had to get a mod approval on this before they can post. It's rather frustrating when people come here and refuse to identify themselves. Another possibility would just be to add a rule that gives an instant ban to those who refuse…

    I periodically write a Christian newsletter named "Just Everyday Things." I posted it on Facebook for a couple of years, and then all this political and psychological warfare against Conservatives and Christians started and I had to stop writing it. It usually runs 1-2 pages, sometimes a page longer. It's Christian in nature, and I'd like to know if it would be okay if I posted it here, and to which forum I would post it.     Is there an option on this forum software to save a draft of a post before actually posting? As an example, I believe XenForo software allows users to save posts as a draft as often as that user wishes - the idea being that a user could begin working on a post, save the draft, and come later to finish the post or just add to it. Once the use is satisfied, the user can then choose to post the content. I’ve looked for that sort of a feature here and don’t see it. I’m not complaining about it; I’m just curious if I’m missing something.

    Every single forum I have ever joined has had a policy of "introduce yourself" before you get stuck into the discussions. In some, it is actually necessary to have an introduction post before you can post in any other section. Is this possible with this forum software? I understand that this is something brother Matt will probably have to address personally, but maybe a bit of discussion about it? Introductions are kinda important I think. And of course it may not even be possible under this platform, so it might all be moot.

    Hello, In the "Private Forums for Independent Baptists" section, this and all subsections are grayed out when I try to post a new question either by using the "Create New Topic" or "Create" tabs. I do have a login so am good on that. How can I post to this section? In particular, I want to post to the " IFB Biblical Issues" subsection within the "Private Forums for Independent Baptists" section. Thanks, Paul Keck
