The Hot Truth About Hell

Galations 2:20

Today many have no conception of Hell, Sheol in the Hebrew, or Hades , Tartarus, and Gehenna in the Greek language. It is a literal place where men are in the process of dying but never succumbing to death, subjected to incessant agony and physical torment. Churches need to unapologetically preach the clear truth about Hell. Christians need to be able to witness about Heaven to others, and plainly delineating about the horror of an authentic place called Hell. All men must come to terms with an actual place called Hell and the hope of eternity with Christ.

The book of Revelation tells us “He has the keys to Hell and death.” Life and death are in the power of His nail torn hands because His sacrificial death for our sins on the cross took away the power of death, giving us the gift of salvation and eternal life.
The following verse proves His deity over time; past, present and future, He is not bound or limited by time as man is. This verse plainly declares there is a literal heaven and likewise, or opposite, a literal hell.

I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. (Revelation 1:18)

Hell has been described as being a place that:

· Man will have a memory that will NEVER fail.

· It is a place that EVERY request will be denied.

· It is a place of HATRED.

· It is a place located DOWNWARD, NOT UPWARDS towards eternity

· A place of Outer DARKNESS

· A PRISON in chains

· It is a place of UNQUENCHABLE THIRST, a thirst for spiritual things of Christ that can never be

quenched.

· It is a place of ever LONGING.

· It is a place of FIRE that is NEVER extinguished.

· A place where the worm DIETH NOT, sinners never die.

· A place of EVERLASTING DESTRUCTION.

· A place of NO REST day and night.

· A place of TORMENT day and night for eternity.

Speaking about hell is not a popular subject in our society. Many deny its existence; others cannot fathom how a loving God could cast people into such a place. Though it may be unpopular and dated to speak of hell, the reality of its existence must be addressed and expounded upon. Just as one cannot deny the existence of God, or that He is the Creator of the world, it is also plainly stated in scripture about the existence of Hell.

“And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.” (Matthew 25:46)

“And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.” (Isaiah 66:24)

“Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.” (Matthew 18:8)

“In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that OBey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;” (2 Thessalonians 1:8-9)

“And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.” (Revelation 14:11)

“And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.” (Acts 3:23)

“And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” (Matthew 13:50)

“And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.” (John 5:29)

“But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.” (Luke 12:5)

“Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.” (Jude 1:7)

“Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.” (Ezekiel 18:4)

To Contemplate Further:

The scriptural confirmation for a place called Hell is overwhelming.
Likewise, the many promises of a place called Heaven are bountiful, truthful, and freely available for whosoever has faith to believe in Him.

Choose peace and eternal life, not the wide road to Hell with its torment and heat hounding and taunting one physically forever.

If man is annihilated and ceases to exist after physical death; and if there are no moral repercussions after death, then why are there objective moral values? I can murder 300 of my fellow human beings, shoot myself in the head, and it will ultimately result in the same fate as the rest of humanity -- that is -- cessation of all conscience, and no penalty for my actions whatsoever. Ultimately, life will serve no purpose at all in this Universe. Even if I am a philanthropist who feeds the poor and donates millions to charities -- what good will that do when I'm gone? I won't be here . . . and I won't know about the results of my actions while I was living here on Earth if I cease to exist. Ultimately, life would have no TRUE meaning to it, and we can live our lives how we want -- and when we're satisfied with what we've accomplished -- we can simply take our own lives and nothing would have been fulfilled regarding effects which endure throughout time immemorial. Whether you believed that you have lived your life to the Glory of God or were a genocidal madman like Hitler, it would ultimately make no difference at all if we cease to exist after death.

People need to realize this because we will ALL live Eternally in one of two places whether we refuse to believe it or not; and everyone will be held accountable to God for their actions and deeds done here on Earth in this life.

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: [and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works]. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:11-15)

God Bless!!

I Believe all Churches should preach the Bible Verse by Verse & Chapter by Chapter on Sundays & Everyday and not anything else but Bible teaching.

I believe Bible study should be what all Church congregations and fellowship is all about.

Growing up has a Catholic walking to church each Sunday and to CCD every Saturday myself,  along with my siblings and being taught one to two lines only in one of the books in the Holy Bible? When the time came for the priest to talk about the Gospel Of Matthew, John or Luke etc. Teaching us one verse and talked on that one verse from the Bible for about 10-15 minutes only?

If I were to stay in the Catholic Church and was being preached to about the Gospel this way until this very day? I would never have learned the Truth about anything in the Holy Bible!  Meaning to say: Has a Catholic? We didn't have to bring a Bible to Church with us. Naturally, I wouldn't have known any better since this is all I knew growing up has a Catholic.

BUT, My Life Completely Changed around in 2003 onward. Years ago, I started listening to "One of the best Pastors in the world who was teaching the Bible Chapter by Chapter and verse by verse!"

I was in Awe of the truth I was longing for! My Thirst was being fulfilled! I learned more in 6 weeks timing with this congregation teacher of the Holy Word than from any other Priest, Pastor Minister or any other teacher after being a Catholic for 16 years!

Then come to find out? I discovered I was lied to and not told the truth while growing up about many things that were covered up in "God's Holy Letter to "the Entire World!" a coverup about the true story of Adam & Eve I was taught by the Catholic Church.

There were so many things I never knew about in the Holy Bible from being a Catholic.

So, one day I Prayed to God asking God asking God "if I could Change from being a Catholic  to a Christian or A Student of His Holy Letter?"

This is why I feel strongly that it's high time "ALL CHURCHES NEED To Start Teaching only what the Bible is all about & the meaning of every parable and what each word means & teach people how to Pray and use the Bible for understanding and Wisdom and to prepare us all for the coming times ahead which will come!

All teachers need to be very clear on all their teachings of the Bible!  And to start doing this Bible teaching NOW! ASAP!

The times are so bad right now all over the world. All Churches should be teaching About God's Holy Gospel Truth & stop talking about everything else! I've been in churches where they'd be passing the collection plate around 3 to 4 times during their service!

Or they'd make you get up and put your money in a basket or on a plate 3 or more times right in front of the Pastor. Making you feel guilty if you didn't give enough paper money!

This is so wrong on many levels!

Yes, we should give to the church of choice that your being taught the truth from has a discerned Christian being taught the Truth of God's Holy Word only!

I do believe if a Church teaches just the holy word only through the Holy Bible Only? The Churches would be packed with People who want to hear More & More of God's Holy Divine Word of truth to quench their thirst!

Man is now interpreting the Bible & abolishing the Old Testament and making everything in the Bible in which God's against to be Void and Null and everything is welcomed to be done on earth now! As if nothing is off limits in this day and age! Everything goes. Man is rewriting the Holy Word!

The Pastor I was taught of God's Holy Word Chapter by Chapter & Verse by Verse?

He has never taken "One Single Dime for preaching the Holy Word his entire life explaining what every single word in the KJV meant in the Holy Bible every single day!

I learned so very much from him I've come to love him as a preacher in so many ways. Teaching Millions of people every day!

The best teacher in this world I ever came across! I was so very Blessed to have known him & be taught the Truth of God's Holy Word through him.

My End thoughts:

I really believe we are wasting time if we're not taught the Word of God only.

We should all be Discerned Christians and not be followers but leaders and do the research of everything said to us by any man whose teaching the word of God from anywhere!

Amen!

I wonder about

Ecclesiastes 12 and particularly verse 7.Remember Your Creator in Your Youth

12 Remember also your Creator in vthe days of your youth, before wthe evil days come and the years draw near of which xyou will say, “I have no pleasure in them”; before ythe sun and the light and the moon and the stars are darkened and the clouds return after the rain, in the day when the keepers of the house tremble, and the strong men are bent, and the grinders cease because they are few, and zthose who look through the windows are dimmed, and athe doors on the street are shut—when bthe sound of the grinding is low, and one rises up at the sound of a bird, and all cthe daughters of song are brought low— they are afraid also of what is high, and dterrors are in the way; the almond tree blossoms, the grasshopper drags itself along,1 and desire fails, because man is going to his eeternal fhome, and the gmourners go about the streets— before the silver cord is snapped, or hthe golden bowl is broken, or the pitcher is ishattered at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern, and jthe dust returns to the earth as it was, and kthe spirit returns to God lwho gave it. mVanity2 of vanities, says nthe Preacher; all is vanity.

When all things are of creator God how can a soul return to other from whence it sprang?

    • Please check out this thread again. I updated it with new (good) versions of the PDF books. Explanation above.
    • The Song Of The Redeemed I like it when something in a passage gets explained and it opens up. I’m sure I knew some of this before (though this old brain gets forgetful), but it struck me more today. Rahab, when used as a symbol through the Old Testament, refers to Egypt. Now read this: Isaiah 51:9-10 Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Art thou not it that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon? Art thou not
    • Thy Gentleness Hath Made Me Great Was just reading some poetry by king David, and came across one of my favourite verses again. Focus on the last part of this verse: Psalms 18:35 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great. In the world’s eyes, we may not be much or accomplish much, but in God’s eyes, we are great - because of Him. Who we are in Christ never changes from day to day, so we can alwa
    • In The Day When I Cried Sometimes we think it is presumption to ask the Lord to answer a prayer today. Though if a prayer does seem more urgent, we may have asked the Lord to perfect (complete) that which concerneth us (from Psalm 138:8). If we have a need or a trouble, we may pray for it, expecting God to answer it in His own timing. But what happens if the need seems more urgent, if the trouble we are facing seems more dire, perhaps even time-sensitive? Is it presumptuous to pray, asking
    • Does God Delight In You? Psalms 18:19 He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me. If you have trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ alone for salvation, you are accepted in Him by the Father - and you therefore become a child that He delights in. Proverbs 3:12 For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. We may not like the application of this second verse to ourselves, but He corrects us beca
    • Reading The Scriptures   There are two main words for know (and its forms) in the New Testament.   1) Strong’s #1492, eido. This word basically has the idea of head knowledge, knowing about something.   2) Strong’s #1097, ginosko (from the root word, gnosis, knowledge). This word has the idea of knowing about something personally, personally experiencing what you know about.   Looking up every time the word know (or a form thereof) occurs in the NT (with these ba
    • Good to see the two studies on this theme still here in the Sermons section. My websites got repeatedly hacked two years ago. We lost all content and had to rebuild from scratch. These two were ones I still hadn't put up again. A bit of copy and paste, and there we go!
    • DRAW NEAR TO GOD   Song of Songs 1:4 Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee.   The above verse is a prayer or desire of the believer desiring to fellowship with her Lord.   I love how the Word of God uses the idea of God drawing us to Himself.   Firstly, through His death on the cross and the preaching of the G
    • No debate. God told the first man and woman,  husband and wife,  that they would die if they disobeyed Him. They disobeyed Him. They died.  The time that passed before this was physically observed was considerably longer than 75 years, right ?  So also today,  do not look at what is seen with the eyes, nor listen to what is heard with the ears (carnal, fleshly, worldly, physical),  rather trust ABBA YHVH.
