Playing catch up by Bro Ed on September 17th, 2008, 1:11 pm
WOW! How quickly a month can get away from you. September is almost over, which leaves me with four more months of deployment left (11/15 gone). I am trying to get out of the country to go home on leave for a couple of weeks, but our week here started with massive dustorms. Which look alot like sandstorms without the heavy winds. I am praying that flight schedules catch up so that I can get out of here in time for some important events back home.
One of which is the celebration of my oldest daughters...

Religious Acts by amblivion on August 31st, 2008, 1:59 am
Jesus healed on a Sunday! NO WAY! Today as I was reading John chapter five a question swept through my head nagging me to answer it. A question I had never really thought of. I hope that this entry finds you all well. I give God the praise for the oppurtunity to share what he is doing in my life. About a month ago, the Lord laid on my heart to approach our unit chaplain about starting a weekly prayer meeting. After a couple of weeks of praying about it, we went ahead. We are now into the 6th week and we are seeking God for an increase in attendance. For the first few weeks we were battling ongoing missions for attendance not only to the prayer meeting, but to the regular...

The start of something new. by Bro Ed on August 20th, 2008, 4:23 am
The blessings of the Lord are fresh and new everyday, and today is of course no different. Today I start this new project of praising God daily online. I also look forward to hearing from others who would like to "brag on God".
This morning was nice because I got to talk to my wife and got to say bedtime prayers with my children. The Lord used this to remind me this morning that my time with my children is not only special but fleeting. Before I deployed, I would say prayers with...
