We started school early this year. No reason not to start. I have all of my books and my kids start getting bored about this time every summer. We are just easing in to the year, of course. We are going through Proverbs for Bible using Wellsprings of Life by Donald Orthner. It's basically Proverbs put into subject categories. The kids seem to be enjoying it. Its been one month since I did one of the hardest things ive done I think ever done. On November 8th I performed my first funeral. The funeral of a 19 year old boy who took his own life. This boy was like one of my own kids, infact was good friends with my kids. I believe he is saved and that eased the pain a lot. I also had to do my first wedding service 3 hours after the funeral. It was a full day. The Lord was soo good that day. He gave the strength needed, dried the tears when the gospel...

Jesus healed on a Sunday! NO WAY! Today as I was reading John chapter five a question swept through my head nagging me to answer it. A question I had never really thought of. I read verse fifteen and then went on to verse sixteen because it is always pratical to go to the next verse but anyways I noticed that although Jesus healed the lame man by the pool of Bethesda, the Jews persecuted him because Jesus healed the man on the Sabbath. I asked myself the question, would I have done the same?...
