Two firsts by Samer on July 20th, 2007, 10:27 pm
Gave my first little devotion Tuesday night in the dorm (started in Isaiah 6 and 33:13-17, about a vision of God). That was fun. I was shaking at the beginning for some reason.

Preached for the first time last night, downtown with my church. Sure wore my voice out in the open air. Didn't have much time, but got to go through sin and the Gospel. Again, I was pretty nervous at the start of it...Kinda funny.

Just excited at being able to do that.

Playing catch up by Bro Ed on September 17th, 2008, 1:11 pm
WOW! How quickly a month can get away from you. September is almost over, which leaves me with four more months of deployment left (11/15 gone). I am trying to get out of the country to go home on leave for a couple of weeks, but our week here started with massive dustorms. Which look alot like sandstorms without the heavy winds. Picture this...
You're on a bus, on your way back from an exhausting and exhilarating day in New York City. Two hours down, one to go. You glance around at your fellow passengers. A light bus home. About 5 white, English speakers. About 10 Asian, Chinese speakers. The white Americans are grouped together. Three guys in one row, a guy and his mother in the row ahead of them.

Suddenly, the driver calls out something unintelligible. We are curious. The Americans exchange...

Soulwinning - I love Jesus so much by MilkmanDan on May 9th, 2008, 1:04 am
Went Soulwinning with 2 of the teens from Church tonight. I guess I wasn't prayed up enough.

The field was tough to plow tonight. No decisions were made for Christ. I feel a tremendous burden for this. But, I am resolved to hit all the highways and hedges. I will pray that God will grant me the gift of tears and that He will bless me with the gift of wisdom.

If you get a chance please pray for Justin (a door we knocked on) his girlfriends dad passed and he looked like he was in bad shape. Please...
