A little background info...
As many of you may have figured out by now, I went with Alex and Billy to NYC last Saturday. We all met at about 6:15 at the subway, where we took it from Owings Mills to Baltimore. From Baltimore, we took a bus(that happened to be owned by Chinese) to New York.

I think I speak for the three of us when I say that we had an awesome time. We must've walked five miles up there. A quick overview of what we saw:

I am an unabashedly Independent, Fundamental, Baptist Man who has pastored and been an evangelist. Had a setback and now am getting myself back on my feet. I know that I am saved, and on my way to Heaven. I attended Hyles Anderson College, knew Jack Hyles, Curtis Hutson, and Lee Roberson personally. I welcome all friends.

Today we remember the birth of our Lord. I find joy everytime I read Luke chapter 2 and Matthew Chapter 2. This year I noted a word that I have read over before that jumped out at me in Luke 2. It said the Shepherds went to see the Lord with "haste". They went imeadiatly and as quickly as they could. How we need to do the same thing every day when we rise in the morning. The days I dont run to the Lord, are the days I struggle most. Remember the Lord FIRST! ...

I've been very good about keeping my spaces blog updated, but not so good about this one.

I'm reading the Sermon on the Mount right now. I thought that I would like to read it in one sitting. :roll Not gonna happen. I'm going to finish it tonight, and then start on it again. There is so much good stuff in that sermon that there is no way I should have thought to read it at once.
