Pro 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Outside of the verses that teach us of how to obtain salvation I think this is the most important verse in the Bible. For upon this verse hangs every other verse in the Bible. If we fail to keep this verse we may misread all others. Of equal importance, for me, is that it is perhaps the hardest for us to do.

Its been one month since I did one of the hardest things ive done I think ever done. On November 8th I performed my first funeral. The funeral of a 19 year old boy who took his own life. This boy was like one of my own kids, infact was good friends with my kids. I believe he is saved and that eased the pain a lot. I also had to do my first wedding service 3 hours after the funeral. There is a young man 10 or 11 years old in our junior church class. My heart aches for him. He was born into a Christian family, but for whatever reason, he has enough anger and bitterness in his heart to satisfy the needs of an 80 year old unsaved man. He is rapidly heading toward a collision course with either violence or drugs/alcohol.

His mom has some pretty serious health issues, but the anger pre-dates that by about 4 years. Yes, he has always been angry and rebellious. I remember him...

My main blog is on Blogger, but I have several Word Press Blogs, and have developed a theme (template) for Word Press that automatically switches in holiday graphics on many holidays. I have also tried many other blogging packages, just to see how they compare.

So heres my second blog, it wont be too long but it might answer a few questions. My computer's hardrive broke and i'm restricted to a laptop til' we get our new computer. That would be why I havn't been online much too, so incase you thought I fell off the face of the Earth, I didn't. Also God's been showing Himself even more lately and i'm excited!
