Well, here I go again at trying this blog thing. I had started one a while back but never kept up with it. My goal is to tell about life in China. Actually I know of another blogger in China that I could just direct you all to because she does a much much better job than I! Oh well, I'll give this a try anyways.

This is my second post. It seems to say this is a separate blog, but I hope in reality it is a second post on my blog.

Boy, ya'll are really sprucing the place up! Not sure if I'll even use this...we'll see. But I had to post atleast once and see what it looked like, right?!?!

We started school early this year. No reason not to start. I have all of my books and my kids start getting bored about this time every summer. We are just easing in to the year, of course. We are going through Proverbs for Bible using Wellsprings of Life by Donald Orthner. It's basically Proverbs put into subject categories. The kids seem to be enjoying it. I am too, but don't tell them ...

Seems to be much neater now.

Today is the official first day of school everywhere else in this state of ours. My kids have a great headstart. Tabitha even managed to get her work done before lunch. With no corrections. (Including math.) If she could be that diligent everyday, I'd be a happy mama.

Sunday marks our church's 25th anniversary. My pastor is looking forward to having one Sunday morning service now, instead of two. It has been 15 years of doing an 8:30 am and 11:00am service in...
