I decided to post this as a blog instead of a post because it more of my thoughts than it is a discussion. I often get a chuckle on the method some folks use when they try and discredit the King James Bible. To start, I must say, some folks think that I am too much for the KJV while others think I am not KJV enough. I believe that I am right where I am supposed to be in believing that the KJV is God's preserved Words for the English speaking people.
Last August, to celebrate our 20th anniversary, my hubby and I went to WA to visit my parents. The first time Randy had ever been to the state. Of course, it was gorgeous. We all had a good time (our son was already there and came home with us at the end of the vacation).
Some photos from WA:
These deer were in the yard constantly. The weren't even afraid of my dad because he was always outside...
Look at that, my very first blog. If all goes well I plan on posting what it is like being an admin of the best forum ever. Hopefully if will give some of you an insight of what goes on behind the scenes here at Online Baptist. Being an admin here has its ups and downs, but the ups are way better than the downs. I have gotten to know quite a few people and hopefully one day I will meet may of them here...
Gave my first little devotion Tuesday night in the dorm (started in Isaiah 6 and 33:13-17, about a vision of God). That was fun. I was shaking at the beginning for some reason.
Preached for the first time last night, downtown with my church. Sure wore my voice out in the open air. Didn't have much time, but got to go through sin and the Gospel. Again, I was pretty nervous at the start of it...Kinda funny.
