A little background info...
As many of you may have figured out by now, I went with Alex and Billy to NYC last Saturday. We all met at about 6:15 at the subway, where we took it from Owings Mills to Baltimore. From Baltimore, we took a bus(that happened to be owned by Chinese) to New York.

I think I speak for the three of us when I say that we had an awesome time. We must've walked five miles up there. A quick overview of what we saw:

I love my students...

Monday was student orientation for my September classes. I spent the evening gettting to know each of my eight students. They are all so different in their own ways. But they all love to learn and almost all of them love to interact.

Last night was my first night of regular classes for this month. I kept two of my classes from the first month, since August was a kind of breaking-in period. I love getting to know each of the kids and the friendships that I am able to build...

Silver Screen Sensation

Continuing our annual tradition(for the second time), Sarah and I joined my cousins, Billy and Bryce, for an evening of music from the silver screen performed by the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. I just wanted to tell you about a great book I read on prophecy of the endtimes. The name of the book is A Seven-Fold Promise of His Soon Coming. It was co-authored by Evangelist Dan Goodwin and Pastor Bill Waugh. Bill Waugh also teaches Bible at Shawnee Baptist College in New Albany, IN.
