Chapter 66 "We call this food the Eucharist, of which only he can partake who has acknowledged the truth of our teachings, who has been cleansed by baptism for the remission of his sins and for his regeneration, and who regulates his life upon the principles laid down by Christ. Not as ordinary bread or as ordinary drink do we partake of them, but just as, through the word of God, or Savior Jesus Christ became Incarnate and took upon Himself flesh and blood for our salvation, so, we have been taught, the food which has been made the Eucharist by the prayer of His word, and which nourishes our flesh and blood by assimilation, is both the flesh and blood of that Jesus who was made flesh. The Apostles in their memoirs, which are called Gospels, have handed down what Jesus order them to do; that He took bread and, after giving thanks, and said: ‘This is My blood’; and to them only did He give it. The evil demons, in imitation of this, ordered the dame thing to be performed in the Mithraic mysteries. For, as you know or may easily learn, bread and a cup of water, together with certain incantations, are used in their mystic initiation rites."

We believe the Bible above anything Justin Martyr may have said.
It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes. (Psalms 118:8-9)

For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. (Psalms 103:10-12)

Ok, so how do you interpret the Bible? Who would give better insight on what the apostles really taught? Would it be someone who knew and learned from them personally, and died for their faith? Or should we trust someone from the 17th century Europe? I say someone close to the source. I also say that we listen to the Church that Jesus founded; the Bible calls it “the pillar and foundation of truth”. “But if I should be delayed, you should know how to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of truth.” (1 Tim. 3:15) I do not know why you put that Bible quote in there. We show our trust in the Lord over men by putting our trust in the Church that He founded over the church founded by John Smyth in 1609.

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
God reveals the Scriptures' truth through the Holy Spirit. You need to be born again by faith in Christ alone so the Holy Spirit will dwell inside you and give you an understanding of the simple truths of the Bible.

Ok ... what does that have to do with the post?
