We are having a garage sale and boy oh boy our house is a mess from all the sorting. We have the kids helping as much as possible and my dh is wonderful, he is going to hang signs today with the oldest. We have a ton of stuff we no longer need nor can use. We are having wanting to sell the clothes for one price (for the most part), what do you think is a fair price for filling a bag??? They are nice clothes. I was surprised myself at how picky I was when I saved them. I have a lot but I am unsure how much to go on them? What about shoes. Again I do not want to price them each so one price. I wish a lot of you lived close with all the dress and skirts I have for girls.

Since it is a garage sale, people will expect things to be pretty inexpensive. If you were to fill a bag for one price, maybe $5.00? Doesn't sound like much, but people would tend to buy it quicker, I think, than if you put it higher.
Ugh, we are in the same boat. I'm pricing things pretty cheap. If they want to buy and resell on ebay, I really don't care. I just want this stuff gone.
My maternity dresses are no higher than $4.00 and some are really nice. I will have my jumperoo for $30, though, and my swing will be $15.
We recently had one and I just put a sign up saying that kids clothes were .25/apiece and adult seperates were something else, (can't remember) and then had a few individually marked. That worked good, a few ladies were real happy to get the kids clothes.
Thank yo ladies. I love this web sight. We are going to be baking up a storm too. The teens are going on a trip so this will help. Any more ideas I would love to read them.

I think maybe you should put up a sign for different prices per article of clothing... like so much per shirt, skirt, and so on. Ya know what I mean?? And probably just like a set amount for the shoes, unless you mark them other wise, and the same with the clothes. Good luck!!
